Photography Workshop with Sandro Santioli

During the whole photography course we will spend a lot of time to take photos from the first day of the morning exploiting every little light change on the landscape and architectures.
We will visit and we will take photos of little and old village too, trying to to develop the photographer ability with natural light , with shades and trying to develop the sense of composition.
The last day we will spend part of our time to examine the works made during the course with a final analysis of them .
At the end , there will be a projection of the teacher’s works..

During the final analysis, the partecipants who use digital camera, have to bring their personal-computer and the respective softwar for optimization of the images.
It is possible to develop the slides or films directly on the spot – in a professional photographic laboratory, at the extra price of 8,00 euros for one roll.
WORKSHOP details
Technical qualifications:
the workshop is open to everyone who is interested in photography. Of course, the knowledge of one’s own camera, the use of transparency film (slides) 50 and 100 ASA ( preferably ) and also the possibility to use digital camera. We recommend to bring a tripod. It is possible to buy the roll-films on the spot .

When:
- April 24th / April 26th / April 28th , 2006 ( bookings within April 10th , 2006 );
- June 4th / June 6th / June 8th , 2006 ( bookings within May 20th , 2006 );
- September 24th / September 26th / September 28th, 2006 ( bookings within September 10th 2006).
What to bring:
one’s own camera, tripod , filters colour transparency, 50/100 Iso films and…trekking shoes.
Language:
the teacher speaks English, Italian and French..

The price includes:
- 3 days full immersion photography workshop;
- 1 full day in the “Crete Senesi” area;
- 1 full day in the San Gimignano and Volterra area;
- 1 full day in the Chianti area;
- Bus and driver – 3 full days;
- Dinner to celebrate the last day of course;
- Use of the meeting-room for photos-exhibition and final analysis of the works.
The price does not include:
- film (every student must bring whatever they require);
- professional development of film.

- First payment
- at the booking-confirmation: Credit card details only;
- a the check-out moment: Full payment.
- Second payment
- at the booking-confirmation: 20% deposit by bank transfer;
- a the check-out moment: 80% remain sum payment.
Cancellation policy:
- Within 60 days before workshop-starting NO penalty;
- from 60 days to 31 days before workshop-starting 20% penalty;
- from 30 days to 1 day before work-starting and no-show 70% penalty.
Sandro Santioli
Sandro Santioli. Born in Tuscany where he currently resides, Sandro Santioli is one of the most acclaimed Italian landscape and colour photographers. His work appears in galleries and private collections, advertising and calendars. His clients include publishers such as Barnes Noble, Rizzoli and Mondadori, reviews such as Geo, Airone, National Geographic and Vogue and companies and institutions.
